The proposed redevelopment of The Glanty consists of a number of high quality office buildings situated on a former industrial Brownfield site in Staines.

We created a masterplan for the entire site, providing a series of short, medium and long term options to unlock the estate’s commercial potential whilst also simplifying circulation through the site and creating a clear hierarchy of good quality open spaces. Opus 1 (122,000ft2) and Opus 3 (63,000ft2) were to be the first two grade ‘A’ office buildings to be developed on the site.

Opus 1 with its striking exterior, capitalised on the building’s prime position prominently fronting The Causeway. The six-storey building includes an innovative penthouse office suite. Significant public realm enhancements included a new shared pedestrian and vehicle piazza, together with a multi-decked car park. Opus 3 was situated on the other side of the piazza and was designed to be a bold, contemporary and environmentally sound building consisting of four floors.
