We’re delighted to announce that our first residential scheme, Ceaser Court in Sunbury upon Thames, has been granted planning permission by Spelthorne Borough Council.

The redevelopment of Ceaser Court, formerly known as Benwell House, will transform an existing office building into a contemporary residential block of 57 units, 12 of which will be affordable housing for the local community.

The design approach is to remove the existing tile roof structure, refenestrate the existing third floor and construct an extension comprising two and part three additional floors.

The resultant building will be six floors at the south of the building and 5 floors at the north, with the extension element providing 24 additional residential units.

The 25,587 sq. ft. building is set within two acres of landscaped grounds, with easy access to the M3 and A316 and within walking distance of Sunbury train station. The conversion is expected to start on-site in January 2019.

The Leader of Spelthorne Council, Cllr Ian Harvey, said: “We have been looking for opportunities to provide additional housing in the Borough and I’m pleased to say that Benwell House is an excellent property which we believe can be transformed into very attractive homes for local people.”
